About Use Cases

The HIEBus FHIR API is flexible to meet a wide range of use cases. In this section we walk through some of the most common use cases to support clinical and care management applications for payor, provider, and consumer/patient/member users. These guides provide detailed steps for how to leverage multiple FHIR resources and particular value sets to query and organize data for specific use cases.

While the Tutorials provide a general introduction and the Interface and HL7 documentation provide details on the API, these guides are intended to provide further guidance, best practices, and idiosyncratic details about the HIEBus FHIR implementation and available data.
